Job Description

Job Purpose

This is a vital position to support network unit to do planning and providing technical solutions for improving network coverage.  This person will be interacting with the Partners’ teams’ very extensively. Competition bench marking and correct RF planning for new site’s rollout and expansion are the key attributes of this position.

Key Responsibilities

3G network Design and Planning
Design and plan network coverage to meet business requirements – better or at par with competition
3G Carrier Strategy and Parameter Audit
Optimization
Monthly and Quarterly 3G parameter audit
Capacity monitoring and Expansion:
Regular monitoring of network utilization and planning for capacity  expansion as per AOP guidelines
Driving to improve utilization of sites by field visits and analysis
Regulatory Compliance
Sound knowledge of local regulatory requirements regarding frequency spectrum use, etc.
Good Technical Knowledge
Must know in-depth knowledge of RF/3G attributes for planning and  optimization.
2G, 3G and 4G technologies
Desired Skills & Experience

Bachelor of Engineering Degree
Minimum 8 years relevant experience in planning of transmission networks domain
Sound knowledge of RF Planning & Optimization of 2G and 3G Mobile Network
Analytical and Presentation skills
