Business Leader- Business Development

• Develop sales pipeline leveraging all available resources in coordination with the product development and account management teams
• Work with Customer Account Managers and Country Managers to identify opportunities to sell new products to existing customers
• Participate in high-level, interactive conversations with key decision makers around new or emerging product opportunities
• Analyze customers’ existing business through profitability modeling, financial forecasting and competitive analysis and recommend opportunities for additional revenue
• Develop long-term growth strategies to optimize mutual profitability across debit and credit business lines
• Work with virtual team of MC subject matter experts to strategically articulate value propositions to close new business opportunities
• Develop financial modeling and business cases for identified opportunities
• Execute and manage the customer contract agreement process, ensuring global linkage of resources and information sharing
• Be the responsible “face of MasterCard” to the prospect/customer through high level interactions with key stakeholders such as senior bank executives, country regulatory contacts, representatives of marketing and card vendors as well as third party processing companies.

Major Accountabilities:

This individual is the 'Go To' person for Business Development across the assigned location within West Africa ensuring alignment between the location’s 'go-to-market' approaches and the overall MEA Business Development strategy, taking into account the region's longer term strategic initiatives.
Establish new partner / vendor/ enabler / joint venture integration with capabilities to sustain MasterCard’s competitive advantage and tracking performance against key objectives. This individual will have responsibility for establishing and maintaining strong business relationships with Issuers, vendors, the banking industry and the regulators across the assigned location.
Fundamental to accelerating the development of the business in the allocated location, is a backbone of strong issuance strategy in partnership with key Banks. The individual will be responsible for developing a dedicated Issuance plan and strategy across the assigned location.
In addition, the successful candidate must have a sound knowledge of the payments industry P&L and how to maximize revenue through an effective issuance strategy.
The individual will support in the development of the allocated location’s Interchange strategies, in collaboration with all regional cross functional teams. Role and Responsibilities:

This is a quota-carrying sales role and the candidate will be driving the sales of Cisco’s Data Center Products in NIGERIA.

Cisco’s Data Center portfolio with UCS, the Unified Compute System combined with Cisco Unified Fabric offers a robust platform for Data Center Virtualization, Next Generation Data Center, Private and Public Cloud as well as VDI infrastructure just to name some of the key market targets. The successful candidate will be responsible for the building and executing the business plan to accelerate the sales of Cisco Data Center products, in NIGERIA.

This role will report to the Regional Sales Manager for Data Center business in NIGERIA.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Carries Sales Quota for Cisco’s Data Center business NIGERIA.
2. Work in partnership with Country sales team to drive business.
3. Establish and maintain excellent relationships with Regional Manager of each segments.
4. Work with Channel partners in country and help them plan and execute the UCS element of the Data Center sales plan.
5. Work with the channel team to increase partner coverage in all UCS market segments.
6. Work with Marketing and Business Development teams to launch sales initiatives to increase pipeline.
7. Work with Channels management team to drive sales programs with Channel Partners.
8. Demonstrate business transformation and solution-selling approach.
9. Demonstrate executive relevance, and have ability to position complex solutions at senior IT and CxO level, including Data Center Virtualization, Private Cloud, VDI, RISC Migration, SAP ERP and HANA
10. Demonstrate influence over Customer's & Partner’s strategy/behavior.

Skills and Experience
- Minimum 10 years experience in Data Center Server and x86 business
- Data Center Application is a plus
- Proven track record in leading and winning major Server business.
- Demonstrated success in launching & executing of Sales Programs with Channel partners.
- Experienced in multi-level selling and comfortable in influencing CxOs, Data Center Managers, IT Managers, etc
- Understand, articulate and position Cisco’s UCS vision both internally and externally.
- Familiarity with Cisco Unified Compute solutions will be a bonus.
- Familiarity with Cisco UCS and Server and specifically x86 competitors like HP, IBM, DELL, Fujitsu, NEC and Hitachi is highly desired.
- Ability to work unsupervised and lead Sales engagements with Cisco’s Data Center partners for UCS business.

JOB TITLE: CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAM OFFICER DESCRIPTION Pact Nigeria seeks for a highly experienced and qualified candidate to fill the above mentioned position within the shortest possible time. The position is part of Pact Nigeria's team on the USAID Nigeria's funded Leadership, Empowerment, Advocacy & Development (LEAD) local governance project, which Pact is implementing in Bauchi as part of a consortium led by RTL. The LEAD project focuses on strengthening the capacity of local governments and local organizations (CSOs) by promoting government council effectiveness, strengthening management capacity of service departments, and building a dialogue with state-level actors about legislative changes that provide more citizen access to information and local decision making for-improved service delivery, Pact is responsible for the increased capacity of local organizations (CSOs), which is objective 3 of LEAD project The Capacity Building Officer will work closely with a team of technical" staff On the program in Bauchi, Pact trainers in both Abuja, Sokoto as well as operations staff in Abuja to organize, design and implement trainings and mentoring on behalf of the project.

RESPONSIBILITIES The Capacity Building Officer will be responsible for ensuring the day to day implementation of capacity development interventions that will take place under the design of the program and within the proposed main frame. The job holder will support partner organizations in the development of their own capacity development interventions including training by ensuring quality control and providing training of trainers support. The job holder will be involved in the capacity assessment of partner organization, develop and implement capacity development plan including training interventions in relevant technical areas such as networking, budget advocacy, communications, strategic, planning, program management and fundraising. The Officer reports to the Pact/LEAD Bauchi Senior Civil Society Specialist.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: BA in Education, Sociology, Law, Development, Business/Public Administration or another related field Minimum of 4 years of experience in capacity development of CSOs and/or government Extensive knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Proficiency in developing and managing a budget; experience in developing strategic plans, work plans, fundraising plans: knowledge of sound financial, human resources, and administrative policy and procedure Experience in facilitation and training
