Our client is setting up one of the world’s largest Gas based Greenfield Integrated Petrochemical Complexes producing 700,000 tonnes of various products like methanol, polyethylene, polypropylene and butadiene. The complex is coming up just out of Lagos city in the southern part of Nigeria.

Looking to fill important Director(s) levels at this stage of the project. Would like to hear from anyone who has been an important part of setting up a Greenfield project of this magnitude from Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Instrumentation Engg / Civil Engg / Prod/Process Engg with experience related to Projects and O&M.

Desired Skills & Experience


Should be in a similar position with at least 20+ years in the field of project management in various large petrochemical groups, preferably multi location and multi country.

A university Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent is a must. Candidates with a Masters degree in Engineering or Management will have added advantage.

A techno-commercial professional having exposure in Greenfield Petrochemical Projects. Should have sound knowledge & work experience in resource planning & scheduling and management of projects.


Demonstrated experience in leadership and project management, problem solving and creativity, strategic thinking, and decisiveness.



Multicultural experience and understanding.


Personality & aggressive attitude of a go-getter is highly welcomed.

The company follows best in industry standards and offers salaries in two parts, one in local currency and the savings package in US Dollars. Both are 100% tax-free. The savings salary is negotiable based on qualification, experience, cadre and present salary package.

Candidates are eligible for a 15 day paid leave once in six months, if on a bachelor accommodation or one month paid leave every 12 months if with family. The candidate is provided with free travel passage for self, wife and two children up to 16 yrs of age, free transport, rent free accommodation and free medical facilities along with a steward, among others.

The company provides travel reimbursement to the city of Interview, if selected, will provide Visa and Air tickets.
