Senior Procurement Manager In Reading

Connect44 are currently looking for a Senior Procurement Manager to work for a prestigious telecoms company in Reading, England.

The candidate must be a UK/EU passport holder and have extensive experience in procurement.

The correct candidate will have an excellent track record in the telecoms industry and have extensive knowledge of project deployment and marketing knowledge.

Job Spec:

  • Qualify suitable supplier for wireless project bidding and implementation

  • Strategy setup for wireless projects and select current implementation partner for wireless project to achieve cost saving budget and project goal

  • Negotiation with customers & subcontractors to maximize company’s benefit, organizing the bidding activities from inquiry preparation, offers evaluation, negotiation and contract signing.

  • Build and develop relationships with key suppliers and customers.

  • Track Purchasing activity and measurements

  • Manage wireless partners for project delivery

  • Collecting cost baseline information of wireless services in the market and building cost benchmark;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or above in telecommunication field or equivalent,

  • Strong work experience in Telecommunications industry, and experience in outsourcing and from telecoms manufacturer side or telecoms implementation subcontractor side is preferable.

  • Strong background for wireless project delployment and marketing knowledge, including Field Service, Operation and Maintenance, 3rd party equipment maintenance, etc. Able to prepare wireless outsourcing policies.

  • Strong negotiation skill and influence power; proved procurement cost-down track; strong leadership and management skills; Good team-work operating with excellent communication skills.

  • Fluent in English language.

  • Energetic and studious;
