Kimberly Ryan is recruiting to fill the vacant position of:

Job Title: Power Contract Manager (KRPCM)
Reports to: Head Power Contracts and Power Procurement

Role Responsibilities: 

Responsible for the set up of systems for measuring contract performance

15 Serve as point of contact with NERC, IPP5, Distributors, the MO and the SO on commercial, planning and market design issues

Responsible for establishing efficient internal processes for contract management and ensuring that contract control procedures ore of internationally accepted standards

Forecast electricity leads and prices for trading and electricity supply using statistical techniques lit Responsible for implementing end administering portfolio risk metrics, including but not limited to value-at-risk at trading risks and position limits

Analyze energy positions and projects from market risk perspective

Maintain relationships and trade with the Company’s trading counterparties

Provide technical and advanced quantitative methods in support of portfolio optimization, trading and risk & control functions

Stress testing and simulations of portfolio profits and losses

Support technical and regulatory operations of the firm, including compliance market rules compliance


Qualification: 

A First degree in Engineering and a post graduate degree in Law, Business related degree or Engineering will be an added advantage

At least 12 years relevant experience with 5 years experience within the Power industry

Excellent appreciation of trends and advances in corporate finance

Experience working with power contracts, power generation, transmission or distribution fields

Superior technical knowledge of financial markets, derivatives valuation and/financial services

Understanding of regulatory environment and authorities (SEC ond NSE)

Knowledge and experience in investment structuring and valuation, portfolio management and exit strategy

High level of integrity and demonstrated ability to manage activities that have financial implication
