Business Analyst

Job Description

IT Business Analyst sought for a challenging role in a major investment bank based in UAE. The successful candidate will join a team of highly motivated people in the Operations IT department with a focus on cross-asset class solutions for Group Operations. The team designs, delivers and operates state of the art systems that offer best-in-class services to the bank's clients. A background in Business Intelligence is required as is knowledge of at least 2 of the following:


  •  BPMN2
  • QlikView, or equivalent Explorative Business Intelligence tools
  •  UML or ArchiMate
  •  XML Schema, XPath2
  •  Experience of the following: ISO 20022/SWIFT, FpML, FIX, ISO15022, XBRL
  •  Experience in capturing business logic using precise rules languages
  •  Experience Datamodelling using Eclipse Modelling Framework
  •  Web User Interface Design and mock-ups

 
 As a graduate you will have experience in capturing testable user stories in an Agile backlog, you will also have experience working with offshore development teams and working in a Global IT Organisation. You will bring an understanding of trade and position life-cycles, especially in Middle Office and Operations. Some project management experience would be beneficial. This is a new project and offers an opportunity for you to develop your knowledge and skills and to work with an established team in a busy and stimulating environment. While some take to full-time MBA programmes, others opt for Part-time or distance-learning MBA degree. In my own view, it is better to opt for an Online or Part-time MBA course than the full-time.
