The Opportunity: Business Development Executive (2 Slots Available)

The company is actively searching for proactive individuals who demonstrate a powerful combination of advanced networking skills, genuine sales passion, and a keen interest in strategic market expansion specifically within the high-stakes energy sector. This role is recognized as being pivotal for the organization, directly responsible for the identification of new, lucrative business opportunities, the cultivation of essential, long-term client relationships, and the direct fueling of the company’s sustained revenue growth trajectory. The position is designated as Full-Time, is physically located at the company's offices on Furo Ezimora Street, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, and reports directly to the Head of Business Development.


Core Scope of the Role: Revenue Generation and Client Acquisition

The successful Executive will be instrumental in significantly expanding FESL's market footprint by taking comprehensive ownership of the entire business development lifecycle. The primary responsibilities include:

  • Target Achievement: The Executive is expected to proactively identify, rigorously qualify, and persistently pursue new business opportunities, operating with the clear and measurable objective of consistently meeting and exceeding ambitious revenue targets set by the management team.
  • Relationship Management: The role requires the strategic development and diligent maintenance of strong, resilient, and long-lasting professional relationships with key clients and influential industry stakeholders across the entire oil and gas landscape.
  • Proposal and Negotiation Mastery: The preparation and professional delivery of compelling business proposals and high-impact presentations are core functions. The Executive must confidently lead and execute contract negotiations and agreements to successfully secure new business ventures.
  • Market Intelligence: The individual must conduct crucial and insightful market research to accurately identify emerging industry trends, meticulously assess competitive positioning, and pinpoint untapped, high-potential growth areas for FESL.
  • Internal Collaboration: Effective and seamless collaboration is required with internal project and operations teams to meticulously ensure the smooth, timely, and successful execution of all secured projects from initiation to completion.
  • Performance Tracking: The Executive is responsible for the meticulous tracking, analysis, and comprehensive reporting of all business development activities and key performance metrics to the Head of Business Development on a regular basis.

Compensation & Candidate Requirements

The compensation offered for this critical position falls within the competitive range of N150,000 to N}200,000 per Month.

To be considered for the role, candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications:

  • Education: A Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory in Business Administration, Marketing, or a closely related and relevant field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1–2 years of relevant professional experience in a business development capacity or a direct, quota-carrying sales role is required.
  • Track Record: A proven and verifiable ability to consistently meet and exceed performance targets is considered mandatory for this role.
  • Essential Skills: Desired competencies include exceptional communication, robust negotiation, and dynamic presentation skills, coupled with a high level of proactive initiative, self-motivation, and an intensely result-oriented mindset.
  • Industry Advantage: Familiarity and prior exposure to the operational and commercial dynamics of the oil and gas industry is regarded as a distinct and highly valued advantage.
