Career Opportunity: Program Manager (Full-Time)

The Bloom Africa is currently seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to join its team in the capacity of Program Manager. This is a Full-Time role that can be performed Remotely, though the primary location is designated as Lagos.

About the Role

The organization is actively searching for a highly organized and tech-savvy Program Manager to take the lead in the design, coordination, and successful implementation of its impactful programs. This pivotal role is dedicated to the core mission of empowering Black women and girls through innovative and sustainable initiatives. The Program Manager will be instrumental in translating the organization’s strategic vision into actionable and measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of essential duties, which include:

  • Program Leadership: Leading the end-to-end process of program design, meticulous planning, and robust execution to ensure all initiatives meet their stated goals and objectives.
  • Digital Engagement and Storytelling: Managing and executing compelling storytelling efforts and digital engagement strategies to raise awareness, connect with the community, and amplify the program's impact.
  • Impact Assessment and Reporting: Developing comprehensive impact reports, diligently tracking key program milestones, and evaluating overall effectiveness against organizational metrics.
  • Partnership Management: Cultivating and maintaining key partnerships and relationships with stakeholders, sponsors, and collaborators to enhance program reach and resource mobilization.

Required Qualifications

Prospective candidates are expected to meet the following professional and personal criteria:

  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 2–3 years of professional experience in program management, non-profit operations, or a closely related field is essential.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency with the Google Workspace suite and other relevant digital tools necessary for remote work, communication, and data management.
  • Mission Alignment: A demonstrable and profound passion for the empowerment of women and girls is mandatory.
  • Core Competencies: Exceptional organization and communication skills are required to effectively coordinate complex projects and manage diverse internal and external stakeholders.
