📝 Role Description: Driving Superior Performance Through Reward Expertise

The Reward Manager is entrusted with a critical function focused on optimizing employee value propositions within the cluster. This involves:

  • Strategic Reward Solution Activation: Being responsible for providing best-practice expertise in the activation of global reward solutions. This includes developing competitive, exciting, relevant, and cost-effective reward packages strategically designed to attract, motivate, and retain top talent, ultimately driving superior performance across the cluster.
  • Market Insight Generation: Generating profound insights into the reward dynamics and trends of the local talent market within the cluster. The incumbent is expected to effectively communicate these critical insights to the Global Reward function of the geography to inform broader strategy.
  • Consistent Strategy Implementation: Ensuring the consistent and effective activation and implementation of all global reward strategies, systems, processes, policies, and tools throughout the cluster.

🔑 Essential Qualifications and Competencies

To be considered for this influential role, candidates should demonstrate the following academic background, professional certifications, and essential competencies:

Academic Background and Certification

  • Possession of a First Degree in Social Science, Arts, or another relevant discipline is required.
  • An advanced qualification, such as an MBA or MSC, is highly desirable.
  • Relevant professional certification, such as CIPM, CIPD, or SHRM, is a strong advantage.

Professional Experience and Expertise

  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience in Human Resources (HR) and/or Reward Management is essential.
  • The applicant must possess a broad understanding of reward content, common and best practices in compensation and benefits, and a thorough knowledge of local employment legislation.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing internal processes and policies is required.

  • Problem-Solving & Referral: The ability to assist in resolving information problems and queries or to accurately identify the appropriate resource for referral is necessary.
  • Communication & Simplification: The skill to simplify complex or highly technical information into easily understandable terms for a general audience is vital.
