Zenon Aviation Recruitment has a new requirement for a Flight Data Manager to be based in Lagos with an established operator.

The operator requires the candidate to be responsible for the overall management of the FDM System / Programme and will report to the Operations Manager with the Safety Training and Maintenance departments retained as customers of de-identified data. The position also requires the applicant to act as an Operations Auditor as and when required.

Key responsibilities include:

 •The classification of FDM events
•Completion of follow up activity and for producing periodic FDM reports regarding trending information
•Set event thresholds, analyse downloaded data, determine event credibility and provision of data in a format usable and easily understood for pilot debrief and for de-identified FDM reports
•Enable effective validation of events and customisation of the process
•Facilitation of the use of the data, in graphical or animated form for individual pilots, or crews, to look back and review aspects of a previous flight, for both technical and training analysis
•Minimum of 6 visits to each operating base per year

To be considered for this position you must have completed an FDM Course and completed an Internal Auditors Course and be certificated to ISO Standards.

•Be a strategic thinker and hands-on manager with strong interpersonal and communication skills
•Be very solution focused and results oriented, with excellent analytical and problem solving skills
•Possess the ability to prioritize key issues and set plans to reach the agreed goals and objectives of the Company.
