Job Role: Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager plays a crucial role in expanding the company's market presence and achieving ambitious growth targets. This professional will be responsible for driving sustainable financial gain and ensuring paramount customer satisfaction through strategic initiatives and meticulous execution of the sales process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy and Growth: Develops a comprehensive growth strategy that focuses on achieving both financial gain and excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis: Conducts thorough research to identify and explore new markets and understand evolving customer needs.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Drives the entire sales process from initial contact to contract finalization, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Client Engagement: Schedules and conducts business meetings with prospective clients, prepares necessary documentation, and delivers persuasive presentations to promote the company’s products and facilitate business agreements.
  • Negotiation and Compliance: Negotiates and structures contract terms with clients, prepares comprehensive sales contracts, and ensures strict adherence to company policies and relevant regulatory guidelines.
  • Contract Oversight: Monitors the project and supply chain units to guarantee that all executed contracts are fulfilled precisely as agreed upon.
  • Upselling and Value Addition: Proactively upsells customers by promoting additional company products and services that specifically address their unique and evolving needs.
  • Networking and Lead Generation: Attends industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows to effectively generate and qualify new sales leads.
  • Partnerships: Develops and nurtures strategic partnerships that are essential for long-term business growth and market penetration.
  • Mentorship: Provides training and guidance to entry-level sales employees on effective strategies within the business development process.
  • Data Analysis: Gathers pertinent information from customer and competitor data, performs detailed analysis, and provides actionable insights to inform critical business decisions.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately maintains records of sales activities, revenue, invoices, and other vital business documentation.
  • After-Sales Support: Liaises effectively with the sales administration unit to ensure prompt and satisfactory after-sales support and feedback.
  • Relationship Management: Builds and maintains robust, long-term relationships with both new and existing customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.

Qualifications

  • Interested candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 - 10 years of professional experience in business development, sales, or a related commercial role is required.
