Job Description

Develop the marketing channel (both federal and private sector) for the company by planning and executing the channel strategy
Be responsible for development, implementation and management of sales team structures, especially for the private sector, including their performance management framework and reward & remuneration strategies
Be responsible to plan and execute partner acquisition strategies and lead the business development and retention of key accounts/schemes
Continued relationship development and management with both brokers and customers and driving the negotiation for pricing of each group account/scheme
robust annual and 3-year rolling channel sales plan with effective budget forecasting
Robust financial health of the Channel and meeting its profitability benchmarks and targets growth in business volumes whilst maintaining a profitable build of the portfolio
Reduced dependence on the federal business within the group sales portfolio and enhanced focus and delivery towards the development of the private sector
Profitable and to-target growth in Group Life businesses

Desired Skills & Experience

Minimum of a University Degree is required
10 - 15 Years experience as a Team Lead
An excellent working knowledge of the Nigerian financial services market, Insurance and especially the government and private sectors
Strong result orientation, good interpersonal skills and high level of team building capabilities
High energy levels and decision - making capabilities that support robust execution of plans
Knowledge of planning, implementing and managing relationship based distributor networks
