Job Description

Looking for a heavy networking person with as much architecture as possible with also heavy network security. DMZ, VPN gateways, Firewalls.
  • Create, maintain and drive technology strategies and roadmaps within the area of the responsibility, eg Network Perimeter Security
  • Partner with the security group to plan and drive the implementation of the technology and its capabilities. Responsible for the architecture of the technology, eg Firewall, Proxy, reverse Proxy etc.
  • Set up best practices and provide directions and guidance of how to utilize the technology and its capabilities. Drive the development of security specifications, standards, and processes to ensure adequate protection of corporate network
  • Serve as a security architect to architect and design the security solutions for applications or systems, and/or provide expertise and consulting to the project teams on security controls needed
Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge and experiences on devices and technologies used for securing network perimeter, including
    • Stateful inspection and next generation Firewalls
    • Web application Firewalls
    • Web proxies and caching appliances with content filtering
    • Web Services Gateway
    • Email gateways (Anti-virus, Anti-Spam, DLP)
    • Server load balancers
    • SSL VPN appliances
    • Routers and Switches
    • Wireless networks
  • Extensive knowledge of network security architectures and designs, including
    • B2B connectivity
    • DMZ/Application hosting
    • Internet access
    • Remote access, including consumer oriented devices (IT consumerization)
    • LAN/WAN networks
  • Strong record of operational success managing large and complex Enterprise networks.
  • Expert packet and protocol analysis skills (ie Wireshark)
  • General knowledge of information security, including infrastructure security, application security, identity and access management, compliance frameworks, and other regulatory requirements such as PCI and SOX.
